other terms:

Agreement:

1.  The kitten/cat is sold with a health guarantee stating that the kitty is free from any known
infectious or genetic disease, parasites or fungal disease.

2.  Purchaser agrees to take kitten/cat to a veterinarian for a health exam within 7 days of
purchase, at purchaser’s expense.  If said vet examination should determine the cat to be defective
or chronically ill, the seller is to be notified immediately, and the said cat to be returned to the seller
for a full refund of the purchase price.  Until such a time as the said cat has passed this health
check, this cat shall remain totally isolated from any other cats.  Failure to comply with these
stipulations will void any guarantee of this cat.

3.  Kittens/Cats placed as pets are already altered or an alter fee is collected and put towards the
cost of having the kitty altered by the time kitten is 6 months old.  Once altered, seller will supply
CFA registration papers (marked not for breeding) and return alter fee to buyer.

4.  Purchase price includes vet check, up to date vaccinations, worming, a current application of
Advantage or Frontline flea control, a starter package of food, and the cost of spay/neuter (for
pets, premeirship, and retirees).

5.  If the buyer cannot keep the kitten/cat and cannot find a suitable replacement home, at any time
during the cat’s lifetime, buyer agrees to bring the cat back to seller…the cat is never to be
surrendered to a shelter.  (No compensation will be given by seller.  If cat is rehomed and an
adoption fee is collected, any monies remaining after seller’s costs of boarding, caring for, and
advertising cat are deducted, will be returned to purchaser.)

6.  Buyer understands that the best lifestyle for their new kitten/cat is to live indoors only, to be
altered, to not be declawed, and to receive high quality food, veterinarian care, and grooming.

7.  All costs incurred with shipping/transporting cat, carrier, rabies vaccine & health certificate, and
veterinarian visits are the sole responsibility of the purchaser.  Purchaser is responsible for all vet
bills or other expenses once the cat is in purchaser’s possession.

8.  If this cat/kitten is found to be neglected, abused or otherwise mistreated, purchaser will
surrender said cat/kitten to the breeder unconditionally.  (No compensation will be given by seller.)

9.  If at any time the kitten/cat dies, purchaser agrees to notify seller, have a veterinarian perform a
necropsy, and furnish a copy of the veterinarian’s report to seller immediately.  A replacement
kitten/cat will be offered only if veterinarian’s report certifies that kitten/cat’s death was caused from
a congenital or genetic defect or an illness the kitten/cat was infected with/suffering from at the time
it left the seller’s premises.

By signing below, both parties agree to the above terms.
